Simpler Law Holds Successful Halloween Fundraiser

We are delighted to announce a new fundraising goal of £20,000 for our Charity Partner of 2026/2027, Alzheimer's Society. Over the past two years we have held multiple successful fundraisers, taken part in Memory Walks, and donated £1.00 for each Family & Estate Will sold by our outreach advisors.

After exceeding our previous goal, we thought it time to challenge ourselves with this new goal. At the office, all companies within the HAIG Legal Group took part in an exciting Halloween Fundraising Day to kick off the challenge.
The day, 30th October 2026, was spent in fancy dress, and an abundance of baked goods available, many of which were specially made by our team. After a careful count, we can officially announce that in that single day we raised £310 for Alzheimer's Society. In the fight against dementia, every pound is precious, and we are honoured to be a part of it.
During our fundraiser, we also held a costume contest, voted for by everyone in attendance. We announced the Winners on our Facebook, but in case you missed it, here's a breakdown:
Winner:
Scarecrow - 35 votes
Runner Ups:
Wicked Witch of the West - 19 votes
Sue Sylvester - 13 votes
Ewok - 12 votes
A large thank you is due to those who dressed up for the cause (including a crazed unicorn and little red riding hood), baked delicious goods, and of course everyone who donated. We are proud to call this day a success and hope to keep the momentum going in our support of Alzheimer's Society.
If you'd like to offer your support, our JustGiving page is still open, and donations can be made here.
