The HAIG Legal Group is proud to announce that two of its businesses were recognised at the inaugural Modern Law Magazine Private Client Awards in early July. Simpler Law Limited was awarded Highly Commended in the Outstanding Client Care category, while company director and head of legal at Fidelis Legal Services, Helen Claydon, was also Highly Commended in Lawyer of the Year – Wills & Probate.
The awards, which were launched this year to recognise excellence in family and estate planning law, received hundreds of entries in each category. In addition to Lawyer of the Year, Fidelis Legal Services were also shortlisted for Legal Team – Tax & Trusts and Rising Star of the Year.

After achieving her Highly Commended recognition Helen Claydon commented, “It is such an honour to be recognised in these awards. I still can’t quite believe it!”
The awards evening was a black-tie event hosted at The Rum Warehouse, part of the prestigious Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. Nominees from numerous legal firms across the UK were in attendance at what is hoped to be the first of many awards arranged by Modern Law magazine to celebrate and champion the incredible work being delivered across the Private Client industry.
